Happy Birthday Mom ! I Love You !!

Today I am thankful for electricity, since we went without it for a couple hours last night. I am thankful for my mom who sends me CD's of music that I need at just the right times. I am thankful for Cub Scout Day Camp because it made Nate so happy this week. I am thankful for Amy and Tracy who made it so I had 2 hours of quiet at my house yesterday. And I am thankful for excedrin because it helps when it is not quiet at my house.

Today I am thankful for VERY good friends who call me, email me, help me with my kids and everything else. I am SOOOO thankful that my air conditioner works because my mothers broke and she is having to buy a new one which means she is having to go a day without one BLEK ! I am thankful for "Finding Nemo" because right now it is making 4 toddlers very happy. I am thankful for an excellent camp leader who called to remind me to write my solo letter which had completely slipped my mind and I am thankful that John did the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen last night when Natalie went to mutual ( it was her night) and I just wasn't up to it. Thank You !

The 4th of July was my maternal grandmother's (Nanny) birthday. 20 years ago on this day we were celebrating her birthday ( as well as our country's independence) and I received a phone call from John asking me out on our first "single" date. We had been to the movies with Chris and Kel on July 1st but that was arranged as a double date. This was his first call to me to ask me out to lunch at the Olive Garden. I of course agreed and the rest is history.

Had to change to a Patriotic theme for this week !! Looking forward to the pancake breakfast and all the festivities !! Happy 4th everyone !!
